Ages 16-22

Looking Ahead! is designed for students as they look ahead and plan for “what can be?” following their completion of high school.

  • Discussion topics may include transition programs, vocational programs, college, gap-year experiences and jobs.
  • Issues related to gaining and maintaining positive relationships, finding balance in your life, self-advocacy, coping skills, finding your “comfort zone,” and being true to who you are may also be discussed.
  • Participants may choose other topics and this group may be divided by needs and goals of participants.
  • This group is best-suited for individuals ages 16-22 who are currently able to engage in reciprocal conversations, attend to a speaker in a group setting for 60 minutes and demonstrate low rates of maladaptive behavior.
