ABA Therapist, Registered Behavior Technician
Heather is an ABA therapist with KGH. Heather received her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and African and African American Studies from Brandeis University, her Master’s degree in the Social Sciences from The University of Chicago, and her Ph.D. in Disability Studies from The University of Illinois at Chicago. Previously, Heather worked as a Qualitative Research Consultant at a major Chicago area university hospital. Heather's experience includes completion of Illinois Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities IL LEND. Heather has presented at the Society for Disability Studies annual and the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities. She has taught Disability in American Film at UIC. In her free time, Heather enjoys live music and yoga. She is passionate about the advancement of people with autism, and people with disabilities in general.
