Carissa is an ABA therapist with KGH. Carissa received her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Science, a minor in Health Administration, and a minor in Psychology from the University of Southern Indiana. Prior to working at KGH, Carissa worked with the Keshet organization providing inclusion support to children with special needs within a summer camp setting and working for Easterseals with special needs residents in a group home. She worked for her university as a peer-tutor for Anatomy and Physiology and Nutrition courses, and also as a student-athlete peer support coach. In her free time, Carissa enjoys playing soccer, running half-marathons, hiking, and playing with her dog. Carissa is passionate about positively impacting people's lives and helping those with special needs be the best version of themselves.
